RULES FOR TEEN DRIVING CLASSES
1. The minimum requirement by Wisconsin Department of Transportation for Teen Driver Education package includes 30 hours of classroom, 6 hours of Behind the Wheel training, and 6 hours of Observation in car.
2. No smoking, EATING, drinking, or chewing gum in the classroom or in the school cars. Students are sent back home for misbehaving, and they have to make-up for the missed classes. Classroom sessions start promptly at the designated time and last for 2 hours.
3. Students under 18 years old must have our written consent to receive the Driving Instruction Permit. We issue the Permit Application (MV3001) Form when the student has passed the DMV Knowledge Test, signatures on agreement form, and paid for the entire course. We do the test at our school, and the student goes to the DMV to pick up the permit. The MV3001 Form is valid for 60 days. The school owns the permit until the student completes both the classroom and behind the wheel training. Note: If you're 18+ you will need to take the Permit test at the DMV.
4. When picking up the permit at the DMV Center the student must be accompanied by a parent, since the parent has to sign the MV3001 Form in presence of the DMV officials. If a parent does not accompany the student to the DMV, the parent has to sign the MV3001 form in the presence of a notary public and give to the student.
5. When picking up the permit at the DMV Center the student needs to bring the following items:
•MV3001 Form signed by the school •Certified Birth Certificate •Social Security Card (original, not photocopy)
•Required fee for the permit ($38 cash/credit/ check made payable to “Registration Fee Trust”
6. Students must bring their Driving Instruction Permit to Behind the Wheel instruction and call the main Office as soon as they receive it. The permit number has to be registered with the school in order to schedule Behind the Wheel lessons. In addition Students cannot drive without their instruction permit, failure to have your permit with you for BTWs will fall under our $57 No show policy (see #10 for more information).
7. Behind the Wheel lessons must be scheduled by calling the main Office at 414-906 0652. All calls must be made during business hours Mon-Fri.
8. Completing any course packages that meet the State requirements does not guarantee that all students will have had enough skills to become a safe driver.
9. Payment Plan for FULL Driver’s Ed course.
Registration Fee $100, Before MV-3001 Form is signed by school, Remaining Balance *Eligible to get permit* Total Course Fee = $400, $415, $530 All prices are subject to change

If a student has 3 consecutive No Shows LADA Driver School, LLC will refund the remaining lesson(s) and you can complete BTW training with another Driving School. This includes but not limited to not cancelling within 24 hours, not showing up (no call/no show), and showing up to your BTW lesson without your Learners Permit. Any future BTWs will be cancelled/ not confirmed/not scheduled until the No-Show Balance has been paid for; please pay NO SHOW FEE no later than 2 weeks from NO SHOW date.
11. Throughout the BTW part of the program, students should have a BTW appointment scheduled at all times. LADA Driver School, LLC has the right to cancel a student’s permit.
12. PLEASE DO NOT schedule your Road Test until all Behind the Wheel lessons are COMPLETED and we have summited your completion to the DMV. By law, Behind the Wheel part of the course cannot be completed in less than 19 days.
13. The classroom part of the course will expire after 13 months of enrollment. (TRANS 105.70(3) Wisconsin Administrative Code) After 13 months we cannot enter online completion unless the student completes 10 hours of Classroom Refresher Course, which is $110. Please plan accordingly! There are times that we may not be able to squeeze Behind the Wheels to accommodate your compliance, because of our busy schedule. Therefore, please start your BTW lessons as soon as you get your permit and finish in a timely manner.
14. Electronic completions will be entered online by the driving school in the Department of Transportation system when the student completes 30 hours of classroom, 6 hours of BTW and 6 hours of Observation. It is not possible to enter completion information without the permit number. We advance notice from you in order to check and prepare the completions as accurately as possible. Please do not ask for your completion on the same day as your Road Test.
15. Students (upon completion) who want us to help with scheduling a Road Test should call our main Office. Using our car for the Road Test costs $120 and includes 1 hour practice before the test. (Valid just for the teen students of LADA Driver School, LLC who have completed our program)
16. Students who want to cancel a Road Test must inform us at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise it will be considered as a “fail” by the DMV.
17. Adverse weather will be taken into consideration during ALL Behind the Wheel lessons. If the road conditions are not safe LADA Driver School, LLC will contact parents and students to reschedule.
18. It is the students’ responsibility to keep ALL the receipts for payments and BTW lessons. Always ask for your receipt from the instructor after any payment AND at the end of each BTW lesson. (Behind the wheel receipts must show the number of lesson.)
