Driver's Education Contract

The undersigned parties enter into the following agreement regarding instruction in Driver's Education.

1. Tuition

The student (or parent/guardian on behalf of the student) agrees to pay the total tuition of $500.00, or any agreed-upon deposit, for:

• Thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction
• Six (6) one-hour behind-the-wheel driving sessions

2. Course Instruction

The school agrees to provide:

• Thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction
• Six (6) hours of practical in-vehicle driving instruction

The instruction will cover all topics required by law and necessary for the safe operation of a motor vehicle and for obtaining an Indiana Operator's License.

3. Compliance

Instruction will be conducted in accordance with all applicable Indiana laws and regulations by personnel certified by the State of Indiana. A License To Drive is not governed or approved by the Indiana State Board of Education.

4. No Guarantee of License

Completion of this course does not guarantee that the student will pass the course, pass any examination, or obtain an Indiana driver's license. Indiana law prohibits driving schools from guaranteeing a driver's license upon course completion.

5. Additional Fees

A. No-Show and Late Cancellation Fees

Students must cancel scheduled driving sessions at least 24 hours in advance.

If proper notice is not given:

• First no-show or late cancellation: $30.00
• Second no-show or late cancellation: $40.00
• Third and each additional no-show or late cancellation: $50.00

These fees must be paid before the next scheduled driving session or makeup session.

B. Additional Instruction

Additional driving instruction requested beyond the required six hours will be billed at $50.00 per hour.

6. Student Responsibilities

By enrolling, the student and/or parent or guardian agrees to:

• Complete all required classroom and driving hours.
• Understand that failure to complete the required hours will result in failure of the course.
• Complete the course within 180 days of the session start date.

Failure to complete the course within 180 days may result in failure of the course and forfeiture of all fees paid.

7. Payment and Refund Policy

Enrollment must be accompanied by payment of $500.00 and proof that the student is legally eligible to enroll, including a valid Indiana Learner's Permit.

If the school is ready, willing, and able to fulfill its obligations under this agreement, no tuition, fees, or charges will be refunded.

8. Liability Waiver

The student and/or parent or guardian waives any claims against A License To Drive, its officers, employees, agents, and representatives arising from participation in the driver's education program and agrees to indemnify and hold them harmless from any related liability.

9. Entire Agreement

This contract represents the complete agreement between the parties. Any prior verbal or written statements not included in this agreement are null and void.

10. Acknowledgment

By signing this agreement, the parties acknowledge that they:

• Have received a copy of the contract.
• Have read and understand its contents.
• Voluntarily agree to its terms.

11. Termination of Services

The school reserves the right to terminate services without refund if the student:

• Disrupts classroom or vehicle sessions.
• Brings prohibited items or substances (including tobacco, alcohol, controlled substances, or weapons) to classroom or driving sessions.
• Fails to complete the course in a timely manner.
